Pasty Day at Morvah

The Cornish Pasty proudly reports that a fine tradition continues in Morvah, West Cornwall.

Tuesday 3rd August 2010 saw the tenth anniversary of Morvah's Pasty Day!

Over 400 people turned up to be entertained by eight performers during the day and to drink the beers in a mini-beer festival supplied by local breweries. There were additional musicians and dancers in the evening.

A large marquee held stalls that sold local goods, jewellery, plants, clothing and handbags. Volunteers in the church hall were busy with the pasties and cups of tea.

And ..... of course ..... there were hundreds of pasties on sale.

The event was given press coverage by, of course, The Cornishman .....
